An Engineering / Manufacturing Company based in Alberton, has a vacancy for a RF and Antenna Design engineer.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Provide antenna designs for new product developments.
Provide antenna designs for new technology developments.
Validate design concepts with disciplined testing, analysis and simulations.
Stay current with emerging technologies.
Support the development of prototypes & technology demonstrators.
Work as part of a team.
Work with cross-functional teams on non-electrical system disciplines, i.e., mechanical integration, industrial design, etc.
The engineer is responsible for specification, design and documentation for manufacturing of different antenna and RF solutions
Self-motivated, with a desire to learn new design concepts and skills, eager to take technical leadership roles, a team player, with passion for own work.
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Years of Experience
3 years or more of engineering experience in antenna design and development with a strong RF background (antenna and RF circuit design)
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Experience in antenna design and analysis as applied to highly integrated systems/devices.
Experienced with EM Simulation tools.
Experienced with per forming chamber measurements, post processing and analysing data.
Familiar with basic circuit design & schematic development.
Knowledgeable in analog circuits.
Testing and troubleshooting experience using basic equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes & DMMs.
Knowledgeable in system integration including; ESD, and EMI design.
