Our client is recruiting an RF Engineer.

Your Minimum Qualification to be considered is a B.Eng Electronic. MSc. Eng focussed in radio frequency will be a definite advantage.

The Experience and Skills you Need:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering R&D and product development environment.
- At least 1 years’ experience in the RF/Microwave environment (development of RF modules, LRU’s and sub-systems).
- Demonstrated UHF to Ka band design experience will be an advantage.
- Experience in the use of RF simulation tools (preferably Microwave Office/VSS) will be an advantage.
- Strong wideband RF receiver system architecture exposure.
- Exposure to system engineering and product development processes.
- Good knowledge of and experience in the product life-cycle process will be an advantage.
- Good RF metrology exposure.
- Electronic warfare knowledge and experience (especially in RADAR EW) will be an advantage.

You will be responsible for:

- Take design responsibility for allocated RF sub-systems.
- Perform requirements definitions and allocations, functional analysis and sub-system synthesis. Derive lower level component requirements.
- Requirements owner of the test environment of designated RF products as well as monitoring of test infrastructure development to ensure that the required test coverage is achieved.
- Product baseline management of existing and new products.
- Assist in the planning and management of the technical development process and monitor technical performance.
- Be the technical interface to internal customers for assigned projects.
- Coordinate and participate in system integration and test activities to achieve a system qualification.
- Create and maintain documentation for design, planning, requirements, specification tests and results.
