This company involved with the solar panel project in the Kathu area is looking for a candidate for a contract period with specialized experience in operating a Rigger.

RIGGER SUPERVISOR
KATHU AREA

Requirements:
- Matric with a red seal qualification in operating a Rigger, with at least 5 years post experience.
- Candidates with construction experience will be advantageous
- Candidate must be medically fit and willing to under go a full medical
- Valid drivers license
- Must be willing to work on contract

Duties will include:
- Ensure compliance with organisational safety, environment and quality standards and procedures
- Align, level and anchor machinery
- Attach loads to rigging to provide or prepare them for moving, using hands and power tools
- Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overheads structures
- Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces
- Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use
- Fabricate, set up and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists and pulling gear, using hand and power tools
- Rope installation and maintenance
- Slinging and transporting of heavy materials.

Candidates must be immediately available.
