Job Description
Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues
Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies
Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation
Report to and advise EXCO and senior management on compliance issues
Responsible for risk and compliance registers and assurance plan
Keep the company compliant and up to date with legislated changes and industry specific changes to the compliance requirements
Conduct risk and compliance audits and identifying risk and vulnerable areas
Ensure audits are aligned to operational realities and add value to the organization
Provide guidance and support to the internal departments with regards to their internal risk and compliance audits
Presentation and reporting and therefore have strong communication, analytical and report writing skills
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Degree (post graduate business degree will be beneficial)
5 years mining industry experience
Strong financial reporting experience
SAP and MS Office
