Seeking a Registered Nurse with skill development background to be a Learning and Development Facilitator for one of our top clients an advanced Private Hospital that offers best nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compiles and implements the hospital’s Workplace Skills Plan
• Ensures that the Workplace Skills Plan complies with HWSETA requirements
• Consult with line management on learning and development solutions and approaches – especially during the WSP compilation
• Ensures competence of all employees and students
• Coordinates and facilitates, learning and development interventions
• Assess and report on outcomes of learning interventions according to Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation
• Entrench a learning culture
• Ensures that the Workplace Skills Plan is aligned with the MCSA HR strategy, the Learning and Development strategy and the needs of the locality. Compiles capital and operational budgets as per policy and guidelines and manages training expenses Supports quality management and improvement initiative and corporate projects Identifies and addresses learning needs
• Design and develop learning and development solutions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse
• A Diploma in Nursing Education or Human Resource Development will serve as a recommendation
• Knowledge of the Skills Development Act and processes will be an advantage
• Prior training experience and knowledge of Adult Learning principles, all aspects of Instructional Design and the Kirkpatrick model will be an advantage
• Must be computer literate
• Have a systems thinking approach
• The ability to actively consult with and advise line managers on learning and development processes and solutions
• Sound knowledge of risk management
