• Actively participate as team member to assist in the completion of tasks
• Actively participate in sustaining effective doctor, staff and patient relationships

Applicants for this position must :

• Registered Nurse registered with SANC
• 2-3 years’ experience in orthopaedic, general – and endoscopic surgery
• Relevant scrubbing experience and technical skill to meet the critical outputs
• Previous experience as a Scrub Sister is essential
• Should preferably have experience in the following procedures: General Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Gynea, Urology, Maxillo Facial and Reconstructive Surgery
• Skilled in all basic nursing procedures as well as procedures specific to the operating theatre environment
• Strong quality patient care orientation
• 2 positions – for Permanent Night Duty
• 1 position – for Day Duty
