A leading international telecoms company have a great job opportunity for a Roaming and Negotiations Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. You will drive growth of wholesales through negotiating outbound international roaming deals, providing detailed analysis on the key industry trends as well as managing key roaming partners globally.

Your key job responsibilities as the Roaming and Negotiations Manager in Johannesburg will include:

- Negotiation of roaming agreements, inter operator tariff (IOT) and data circuits
- Identify new roaming partners and facilitate strategic IOT negotiations and appointment thereof and implement relations to expand roaming footprint
- Improvement of P&L through advantageous deals, P&L analysis and performance assessment, providing clear evidence of the benefits created
- Define the business case for roaming agreement and deals to ensure the benefits of the signed roaming agreements
- Be accountable for collating segment insights and provide input into the overall roaming strategy and business plan
- Coordinate with the OpCo Managed Network and Carrier Services teams the global versus local / regional outbound roaming agreements
- Generate cost savings from roaming negotiations
- Ensure that there is a defined commercial plan, roaming and wholesale pricing plan and segment value proposition and manage the execution
- Interact with business planning and strategy units within the company to ensure that the optimal roaming product suite is developed
- Identify new services from existing partners in the implementation of agreements
- Ensure the continuous flow of communication to the roaming partners post the negotiation process and manage partner relationships end-to-end
- Develop financial analysis to inform traffic steering

Requirements for this Roaming and Negotiations Manager job in Johannesburg:

- Minimum 4 Year Academic Degree in (Engineering or Computer Science or Business Administration)
- Fluent in English. French and Arabic are advantageous
- 5+ years in relevant experience in the international telecommunication infrastructure industry
- Preferably relevant experience in international roaming connectivity
- Detailed knowledge on the international telecommunication infrastructure industry in regards to latest industry trends and competitive landscape
- Strong computer literacy
