Our client in the automotive industry is looking to employ a Robot Specialist for a contract period of 12 months

Education Qualifications

• N6/NDip/BTech/BEng in Electrical/Mechatronics required

Core Work Related Experience

• Minimum 5 years Body shop maintenance experience
• KUKA Robot operations/programming certified training

Job Tasks
Be able to:

• Fault find and troubleshoot on VKRC2 robot and controller
• Fault find and troubleshoot on VKRC4 robot and controller
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic systems
• Program robot movements and paths to improve efficiency, safety and quality
• Train others on the installation, maintenance and operation of robotic systems
• Document robotic maintenance, testing and troubleshooting procedures
• Fault find and troubleshoot and optimise the following equipment:
• o Roller Hemming
• o Servo Pneumatic Weld Guns (with SMC, Festo, Norgren Servo controllers)
• o Bosch Welding Systems
• o SCA Sealer Systems
• o Tox Clinching Systems
• o In-Line Measuring system (Zeiss)

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
