Salary R54.95 per hour plus shift allowance
Minimum requirements:
• NQF2/3 qualification
• Thorough understanding of welding processes
• Good knowledge of Panasonic and OTC robots
• Ability to learn and understand different / new robot software easily and quickly
• Must be computer literate
• Knowledge in the operation and programming of KUKA robots’ system KRC 2
• Knowledge of resistance welding systems
• Knowledge in glue application systems
• Knowledge in Siemens PLC or similar
• Knowledge in quality management ISO TS1696-2009
• Must be willing to work shifts

Duties:
• Weld optimization on all lines
• New product welding programme development\continuous improvement efforts e.g.: cost and time of welding procedures
• Implementing asset care and preventative maintenance
• Control of welding consumables for all robots
• Assisting the SBU teams as and when necessary
