Mining engineering company is looking for a very well experienced and technically strong Rock Drill Consumables Sales Specialist in Boksburg to join the company in the mining environment

Qualifications:

Matric

Diploma in Mining

Diploma in marketing adv

Technical or non-Technical Degree adv

Experience:

Min 10 yrs exp as a Rock Drill consumables specialist in the mining environment

Specialised exp on Rock Drills and the consumables

Technical proficiency on Rock / Drilling products and exp in the drill and blast / mining industry A MUST

Sales and marketing

Market research

Price management

Strong knowledge on Capital equipment

Strong knowledge of hard rock drill and blasting techniques especially gold mining

All roof bolts and drilling consumables

Extensive knowledge and experience on: Sandvik / CAT / Joy / AARD

Mine liaison

Technical advice

Establish and maintain current and new contract on sites

Technical specialist

Very sound knowledge on projects / equipment and processes

Tracking and documentation of pertinent information

Extensive travelling

Troubleshooting and conduct technical investigations as to client’s requirements

Product testing with prospective and existing drill and blasting customers

Educate and train customers

Compile technical reports / maintenance of product performance data / presentation of findings and recommendations

Skills

Highly organised and self-motivated

Good interpersonal, facilitation and conflict management

Excellent interpersonal as well as planning and organizational skills

Good analytical experience

Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness in an unstructured environment

Drive continuous improvement and change management

Able to perform under very pressurised environment
