ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER

Reporting to the general manager your focus will be to maximise financial performance, guest service and high standards.

Duties and responsibilities:

? Maximise occupancy and achieve room revenues ? Implement Division strategy, plans and objective ? Staff recourse management and planning ? Create an operating environment that ensures consistent guest satisfaction ? Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Housekeeping and Front of House and Reservations departments ? Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and inspections ? Planning and implementing Rooms Division budget ? Managing day-to-day operations as part of a management team ? Ensuring the delivery of exemplary standards of guest service ? On-going review and monitoring of work performed by team ? Complying with business and operational processes and procedures ? Ensure good safety practices ? Implements maintenance and preventative maintenance programmes ? Monitoring business results and compiling relevant financial reports and other financial duties ? Conduct Site inspections ? Overseeing Accommodation sales plan ? Provides direction and support to direct reports

The successful candidate will be sufficiently skilled to:

Provide clear direction to staff, establish standards of performance and behaviour for others and motivate and empower individuals
Initiates and generate action to accomplish objectives
Set high standards and monitor and maintain quality and productivity
Set clear objectives, plan activities and their sequence well in advance and manage own and resources’ time effectively
Focus on customer satisfaction to deliver a quality service or product to agreed standards

Candidate requirements:

1. Hospitality or related qualification
2. Five to 10 years’ hospitality experience in a similar role
3. Three to 5 years’ Executive housekeeping and / or Front of House management experience
4. Valid driver’s licence
