Urgently looking for a Safety Manager for Pipelines, who will promote a continuous and sustained improvement within field operations compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements along with all associated company safety and technical policies and procedures.
Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree preferably in an engineering discipline (or a related technical discipline) or equivalent 15+ years’ experience
• Must possess a minimum of five years field experience in Gas Construction and Maintain, and/or Electric T&D, Damage Prevention and/or Gas and Electric Customer Metering Services, Gas Instrumentation and Regulation, and/or Pipeline Safety & Regulatory Compliance
• Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop, maintain and manage relationships at all levels within the Company
• Strong knowledge of work and safety rules, work methods, standard operating procedures and regulations is required
• Excellent in oral and written communication skills are a must, as are excellent observation and documentation abilities and a high degree of personal integrity. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, efficient, decisive and committed to a strong and consistent quality assurance program
• Working knowledge of personal computer applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Specialized quality-related certification in Six Sigma and Tap Root methodologies for project analysis and incident investigation analysis is recognized.
