An exciting opportunity exists for a Safety Officer within a well known construction company in Gauteng. Minimum requirements are Grade 12 and a Safety & Risk Management Diploma coupled with 5 years experience with Mine Health and Safety Act and ISO 9001 system knowledge. Candidates must be conversant with relevant OSHAS 18001 and Mine Health & Safety regulations and acts. Must also have completed SAMTRAC and Auditors courses and practical experience. Site related experience and extensive experience in risk management and mine operations also required. Knowledge of petrochemical installations would be an advantage.
