SAFETY PROFESSIONAL
Durban
Requirements:
A recognised degree – preferably in engineering
Minimum 6 years’ experience within Safety and Health
Certified Safety accreditation or GCC
Must have held a GMR2 posting
Sound knowledge and experience of OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 systems
Sound knowledge of the relevant legislation, risk assessment methodology, incident investigation techniques and environmental management principles
Relevant experience in developing, implementing, managing and auditing Safety control initiatives and programs
Multi-site / country experience is desirable
Responsibilities:
To lead on all Safety matters in providing a totally integrated Safety function to the organisation and to influence all Management to embed a culture of SHEQ excellence.
