International Hotel Group is recruiting for a Safety and Security Manager to join their team !!!

Main Duties & Responsibilities
• To direct and control the security and safety systems at the hotel, in order to maximize safety of guests and employees and minimize loss from theft, arson or otherwise damage to company assets and personal injury to guests and employees.
• Responsible for ensuring the units compliance with all Health & Safety matters and/or regulations.
• Plan and Budget the costs for the security department.
• Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Develops and implements techniques and systems to prevent or minimize waste, theft or pilferage within the hotel.
• Direct all investigations regarding theft or damage of property and personal injury occurring within the hotel.
• Maintain good liaison with civil law enforcement agencies, Fire department and other government authorities.
• Co-ordinate with external agencies for all special security requirements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, systems and procedures relating to security and emergency situations (bomb threats, evacuation etc.)
• Review the efficiency of all surveillance and fire systems in the unit and recommend improvements.
• Ensure that all records and documents are maintained as per the standard norms of the unit.
• Establish an ongoing process for fire prevention and fire security training in the hotel.
• Ensure that all the security operations are in accordance with the management policy and that courteous service is accorded to all guests.
• Keep the management informed at all times on matters pertaining to security.
• Ensure that the daily activity report reflects a true account of all security activities.
• Stay informed of the latest amendments in civil/criminal laws, technological advances in surveillance and safety equipment.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• 4 – 6 years relevant experience within a similar role.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, organisational & administrative skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Word etc.).
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Good working knowledge of security procedures and practices as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
