Permanent management level position at Leading Manufacturing Consortium in the Information Technology industry.

Our clients, of Blue Chip status, seek the services of Professional Sage Support Specialists (X 3) to facilitate recent SAGE X3 implementation across a wide range of business entities within their Group Stable, across various functional disciplines, being Sales, Finance, Manufacturing etc

Role Purpose
Management of resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out programmes of financial, manufacturing and / or sales applications development work, predominantly in an ERP environment, to time, budget and quality targets, and in accordance with appropriate standards. Selection and planning of a programme of projects and related activities to achieve a set of business objectives, and the management of a programme within a controlled environment such that it maximises the associated business benefits.

Role Responsibilities
• Full technical responsibility for all aspects of all systems specifications and design;
• Full technical responsibility for quality assurance;
• Identify and address all legal and contractual aspects off applications to be developed;
• Design methodologies and specifications that are in line with the standards, policies and procedures of the organisation;
• Designs that are optimised for the use on the organisation’s infrastructure;
• Applications and security;
• Liaise with the development team and business analysts to ensure that specifications are understood and the projects are on track;
• Handover of completed application / system.

Role Requirements
• BSc or BComm Information Systems or similar;
• Minimum of EIGHT years IT applications development experience;
• Minimum of THREE years at management / team leader /supervisor level;
• Exposure to costing work and feasibility studies;
• Proven projects and people management skills;
• Good knowledge of policy frameworks, management structures and reporting procedures for all aspects of software development environment;
• Above average planning, communication and presentation skills;
• Skilled in project quality management.
