The Role
The Systems Manager will be responsible for the company Systems environment focussing on Sage X3. He/She will be responsible for project management and the implementation & configuration of Sage X3 as well as technical support & training.
Key Performance Responsibilities
Strategic planning of system infrastructure to maximise integration capabilities and overall system design and service provider
management for Bold Context and its client base.
Sage X3 implementation & configuration of new customers, modules etc. into the hosted environment.
Internal & Customer training on Sage X3.
General user support and query resolution,
Assist in the integration of add on modules into X3 core modules.
Writing of reports in Crystal Report Writer
X3 Server maintenance and troubleshooting of application and server issues.
X3 Application upgrades, patches and enhancements.
Experience with business requirements scoping and business process mapping.
Configure workflow processes to suit business requirements.
Basic knowledge of on financial software such as Patel Partner, Pastel Evolution and QuickBooks is beneficial but not required.
Project Management

Minimum qualifications/experience required.
Minimum 3 years X3 experience.
Experienced individual, ideally within the areas of IT, Accountancy, Operations, Logistics or Manufacturing. Strong technical skills.
Sage ERP X3 system implementation.
Must have full knowledge of Sage X3 core modules in terms of use and configuration
Basic understanding of Sage X3 development environment.
Understanding of the X3 Web services.
