Our client an Auditing firm based in Bedfordview seeks an Accounting Manager to manage the accounting function.

THIS POSITION IS ONLY PAYING R240,000 PER ANNUM! IF YOU EARN MORE THAN THAT YOU WILL BE OVERLOOKED!

Minimum requirements:
5 years experience - SAIPA Articles completion
BCom Accounting Degree a must
Pastel Payroll and VIP experience
Time management skills
Must be able to work independently and under pressure

Responsibilities include:
Managing the accounting department
Performing the accounting function for a portfolio of clients
Reviewing work performed by accounting staff prior to presentation to partners
Monitoring budgets and meeting deadlines
Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously
Managing, training and evaluating trainees in terms of SAIPA requirements - hence SAIPA is crucial!
Compliance with all accounting and other technical issues
Supporting audit partners on all accounting and tax matters
Providing assistance and support to clients on financial matters
