We are looking to employ a dynamic, well-organised Sales Administrator for our client, a well-established company in the food additives business locally and abroad. Please note that the position is a ONE-YEAR-FIXED-TERM CONTRACT. The position is based in Johannesburg. This will be an exciting position with great exposure to multiple industries.

The successful candidate will act as an executive assistant/coordinator for the Sub Saharan business centre and assist the area managers in brief entry/follow up, pricing, presentations. He/she will also be responsible for the pricing files and databases (only this person has access to the files and tools). Therefore systematic, organized and conscientious abilities are very important. You should be able to handle client issues or internal issues (order management, evaluation requests) in absence of the KAM. Independence and proactivity are key qualities needed.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12
• Customer service experience necessary
• International exposure required
• Logistics – Import-Export experience appreciated
• Account and Finance knowledge (expenses budget) appreciated
• Highly literate in computer: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Access
• Good numeracy abilities and good writing skills
• Good elocution and presenting skills
• Able to handle client contact on phone, writing or face-to-face
• Good time management skills
• Precise (importance for filing and contact client)
• Sense of urgency and customer services
• People skills, adaptable to different personalities, flexible
• Not afraid by important workload
• Willing to do extra time if needed

Salary is R25 000 CTC. As this is a FIXED TERM CONTRACT OF ONE YEAR, no benefits will be applicable to the position.
