Our Client, a leader in the Fresh Produce industry has an exciting opportunity for a SALES ANALYST/DEBTORS CLERK at the facility in PAARL. The successful incumbent will have a very strong financial background and qualifications as well as good exposure to the sales environment.This roles requires verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records. Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions to ensure the accurate payments are made and received.QUALIFICATIONS AND

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of Grade 12 and a Tertiary qualification in Finance will be advantageous;
Background and understand of Sales will be an advantage;
Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in a financial role is essential;
Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and Pastel Accounting;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Must have the ability to work independently;
Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and reliable.

COMPETENCIES/KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Full responsibility of Debtors function;
Customer Sales Analysis and Reporting;
Shipping/Packing equipment Control (Pallets and crates);
Raw material intake;
Packshed pay-outs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processing tracking and recording debtors and statements
Monthly debtors statement reconciliations
Scrutinizing monthly debtors’ statements and reconciling to supporting documentations
Assisting with customer queries
Recording and posting the necessary monthly journals and entries into Pastel
Collecting all outstanding money owed
Populate the daily, weekly and monthly sales report for management
Contact customers when required.
Prepare pricing for customers with the FD and MD on a weekly basis and communicate to customers.
Communicate shorts and overs to customers in a timely manner.
Assist the Packshed manager with the technical requirements of the customers.
Collects data from sales reports for analysis.
Closely study past sales data to determine trends in sales to assist customers and business with this information.
Creates sales evaluation reports based on collected data.
Compile reports in Excel and Power point for business and customers.
Daily management and reconciliation of our pallet’s supplier accounts.
Weekly management of Clients’ and Farms’ crates, dollies and pallets
Daily calculation of stock movement sheets to keep management abreast of availability of product and sales opportunity or shorts
Calculate the entire packing costs of the various lines packed by the two packsheds.
Calculate the weekly payout for raw material delivered to the Packshed.
