Job Title: Sales and Account Management
Salary: R 15,000 R 20,000 – Benefits included
Area: Sandton

Description:
Company based in Sandton is in urgent need of a Sales and Account Management candidate to start as soon as possible!

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Quoting process from start to finish
• Generate quotes, submit to client and follow-up.
• Handle \ facilitate field sales requests and site visits when required.
• Sales of “pre-packaged” solutions e.g. LAN InspeXion and Mimecast.
• Visit existing clients to develop relationships and increase sales (in conjunction with the Business Development & Sales Manager).
• Manage all aspects of existing client relationships and ensure that service delivery at all times meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Generate new business via contacts, cold calling, website leads or other means, lead warming for Business Development & Sales Manager
• Handle day to day quotes.
• Solution based and attached selling.
• Responsible for account retention and growth.
• Ensure that admin is always done according to company standard.
• Responsible for day to day duties (listed below, but not limited to):
• Daily interaction with clients
• Sales reports
• Scheduling meetings with new and existing clients
Requirements:
• Matric certificate
• Relevant operational and \ or communication related qualifications
• Relevant vendor sales certifications an advantage e.g. HP Accredited Sales Person or Microsoft Licensing certified.
• Marketing qualification advantageous
• Relevant IT solution \ technical sales experience very advantageous
• Good IT solution and product knowledge (HP and Microsoft primarily).
• Must be a people person that can interact with all levels of staff at a client
• Must be able to handle and effectively deal with service issues and unhappy clients if necessary
• Must be an organized individual that can work unsupervised and effectively manage time and multiple tasks
• A person that can easily and clearly provide feedback (verbally or via written report- English and Afrikaans) to management on the status of client accounts \ relationships
• An analytical thinker that works methodically and always pays attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain focused
• Must be a well-presented individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• A motivated individual with a passion for technology.
• Must have own transport.

Experience:
• At least 3 years’ experience in relevant IT focused sales and account management role.
