Sales and Marketing Representative

A well-established leading Scaffolding and Formwork Manufacturer in Pretoria, requires a Marketing and Sales Representative to manage the sales and hiring portfolio for Scaffolding and Formwork, increase sales margins and create innovative product / sales strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
•New business development within the Scaffolding and Formwork industries.
•New business development within the Construction, Mining, Power Generation, Petrochemical and Port Facilities industries.
•Monitoring market developments in order to identify and assess potential new customers and opportunities and developing marketing and business strategies according to market trends.
•Managing existing business development as well as ensuring that sales and marketing targets are met.
•Promoting new products and conducting on-site demonstrations.
•Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
•Directing and monitoring distributors and agents to ensure that critical performance areas and targets are achieved.
•Identifying and compiling market analysis reports and providing feedback to senior management.
•Reporting to senior management.
•Compiling quotations, following up on orders placed and liaising with customers with regards to price changes and expected delivery dates.
•Providing technically assistance to customers with regards to products as required.
•Liaising with suppliers with regards to forecasts, new and existing products, discounts and price negotiations for tenders and projects, etc.
•Ensuring that products are delivered to customers timeously.
•Extensive traveling will be required

Minimum requirements for the role:
•Minimum Matric is essential.
•Previous sales experience selling into any industry is essential.
•Scaffolding and Formwork sales experience is essential.
•Must be projects driven, self-motivated and technically minded with a strong entrepreneurial personality.
•Experience on Scaffolding and Formwork Estimates is essential
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills is essential.
•Ability to work within a team and independently.
. Fluently speaking Afrikaans and English
•Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft.
Salary package is highly negotiable based on experience gained.
