Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
5 years experience within a warehouse environment - main
3 years management experience
Experience in packaging
5 years warehousing environment
Knowledge of:
OHSA, Glass manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of SAP, budgets, Labour Law, optimizing warehouse efficiency, equipment maintenance and quality monitoring
Excellent communication skills, Management skills, Interpersonal skills.
Target driven
Tasks include, but not limited to:
People Management (performance, availability, discipline, mentoring)
Reporting (management reports)
Budget and cost control (budget compilation, profitability, breakages, warehouse costs, overtime, courier, petty cash, quotations)
Customer Service & Sales (Relationship building, strategies)
Visiting Key Accounts clients
Customer relationship management and marketing
Customer service (decrease complaints, handle queries)
General operations and housekeeping
Warehouse management (effectiveness, inventory, stock location, deliveries, suppliers, MRP Reports)
