Sales Clerk
Job Purpose:
-To provide an efficient, beneficial and professional service to customers at all times.
Responsibilities:
-Make customers welcome and are provided excellent customer service.
-Actively selling to customers.
-Achieving set monthly sales budgets.
-Answering phones and assisting callers directly or by redirecting the call to the relevant person.
-Upholding the professional appearance of the shop.
-Setting up displays and stock layouts according to accepted merchandising principles.
-Participate in stock takes.
Applicants will be required to be aware of and uphold security practices at all times.
Skills:
-Previous counter sales/retail experience will be an advantage.
-Product knowledge will be a necessity, in house training given..
