JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales consultant’s main responsibility is to make the sales force efficient by proper understanding of the product/services.
The Sales Consultant must familiarize him / herself with the CLIENT product and services offered.

Job Description
1. Selling CLIENT products only.
2. Local and International client visits from time to time.
3. General filing of all documents, contracts, invoices etc. with admin department.
4. Identify prospects for sales of growing machines and equipment in the Industry.
5. Source and develop client relationships and referrals.
6. Develop a database of leads through referrals, face to face on business owners, email, and networking.
7. Negotiate sales with prospective clients for growing equipment.
8. Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to function effectively in this position.
9. Develop a business plan for the allocated area of responsibility, which details the activities that the incumbent will perform in order to meet or exceed the agreed sales targets.
10. Maximize all opportunities to increase sales and the company’s market share.
11. Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
12. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities and rendering such reports as may be required from time to time, e.g. Tracking success daily (MIS Excel – weekly scoreboard).
