A financial services provider based in Gauteng (Centurion) is looking to appoint a Sales Consultant: Commercial Asset with the minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a Commercial Asset Broker or Broker Consultant.

Key Performance Areas
Achievement of sales targets in the designated sales channel
Engage with Sales Manager/MD on sales targets to achieve with clients
Monitor the sales activities to ensure that targets are achieved
Institute corrective steps when targets are not met
Assist relevant partners in the formulation and execution of sales strategy
Compile the relevant reports and submit to the relevant role players within allocated time frames
Manage and negotiate sales contracts/agency agreements with partners in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required:
NQF 4 Qualification or Equivalent Qualification (1 Year) and FAIS Representative
B Com(Accounting/Insurance) or equivalent
5years experience in Sales, Deal Structuring
5-10 years’ experience as a Commercial Asset Broker or Broker Consultant
5-10 years Insurance Experience

Critical Competencies
Advanced Microsoft Office
Ability to navigate FSB site and verify intermediary credentials
Extensive knowledge of commercial short term insurance product, services and standardized underwriting principles
Knowledge and understanding of the insurance products and services available to the agricultural industry to stay abreast of the industry with attractive agricultural insurance products and services
Knowledge and understanding of the elements and instruments utilised in sound financial planning activities
Knowledge of Short term and long term insurance industry
Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to insurance companies such as PFMA, Short and long term Insurance Acts,
Marketing skills: The business activity of presenting products or services in such a way as to make them desirable
