Sales Consultant

Our client, one of the fastest growing businesses in South Africa seeks to appoint a Sales Consultant to their Retail Divisions in Cresta Mall. The ideal candidate will come from a corporate, banking, insurance, real estate or financial services sales environment and would be someone who is looking for a long term career growth within a “soft sell” retail environment.
The ideal candidate must be extremely well presented with a good command of the English language and the ability to deal with high-nett worth individuals. Previous knowledge on gold investments would be an added advantage.

Requirements:
• Matric plus minimum of 3 years corporate sales experience.
• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Must be ambitious to work in a stable, high profile sales environment.
• Must have the ability to deal with people at a high-nett worth level.
• Natural sales ability and strong relationship building skills.
• Must be comfortable working shifts.

Responsibilities:
• Selling coins and medallions in order to meet individual and store targets.
• Identifying new business opportunities.
• Building a client base within the store.
• Keeping regular contact with existing customers.
• Staying abreast with product developments and pricing.
• Handling of cash, credit cards, bank transfers and cheques.
• Assisting with stock counts.
• Ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensuring that merchandise is attractively displayed.
• General administration.

Remuneration:
• Basic Salary – R6 000
• Commission plus 1% of store turnover
• Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Funeral Policy, Group Life Cover
• Bi-annual bonus
• Quarterly performance incentive bonuses based on individual performance.
