RS Recruitment is assisting a rapidly expanding organisation in the WATER RETENTION INDUSTRY,
to recruit a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE: FIRE PREVENTION INDUSTRY to be based at their
offices in MIDRAND.

Purpose of the position: To service existing clients, identify and cold call on potential clients, introduce the company and identify opportunities to generate business. FULL PRODUCT SALES TRAINING PROVIDED.

Applicants should be/have the following:
Matric Certificate
Tertiary education in a commercial discipline will be a distinct advantage. E.g. IMM, Damelin Diploma, B Tech.
Driver’s License essential.
Experience in the fire prevention/suppression industry would be an advantage but not essential.
Computer literate and able to use Word, Excel and Power Point minimum.
B2B/Commercial Sales experience, minimum 3 years
Experience in selling to blue chip commercial customers in Gauteng
Fully computer literate: MS Package or any CRM package
Fluent in English and Afrikaans – literacy in an African language will be an advantage.
Able to present a compelling sales proposition – by written word, telephonically, face to face or
to larger prospects using Power Point.
Must be self-confident and comfortable to cold call on clients.

Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients while travelling the area
Introduce the company to those potential clients
Network with existing and potential clients to generate leads
Maintain relationships with current clients
Generate reports on weekly activities
Set target to generate sales and achieve them

Remuneration:
R15k to R18k basic (depending on experience and qualifications).
Plus commission on value of sales, cell phone and laptop.
