SALES CONSULTANT - PMB
Area: Pietmaritzburg
Salary: R 15 000 to R 16 000 pm ctc

Requirements:
• Matric Certificate
• Sales related qualification and/or training will be an advantage
• One to three years experience in the security industry.
• Alarms/Access Control, Fire and CCTV Technical and Sales experience.
• Current valid driver’s licence
• Proven Sales Track history

Duties:
• Responsible for achieving sales, revenues and profitability targets within the allocated client base
• Responsible for identifying and developing new clients deemed as suitable for the company
• Provide regular feedback and reports as defined by relevant ISO procedures and by the responsible Branch Manager on activity within the specified client base or area.
• Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies, to meet the client’s requirement and expectations.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate Company objectives, targets and budgets.
• Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and recommend price schedules and discount rates
• Delivers sales presentations to clients and displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes saleable features.
• Regularly meets with clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material and training
• Monitors and evaluates competition activities and products.
• Ensures calendar / CRM system updated with all client contact details and client activities within the branch. This includes details of contact persons, positions held, influence and decision-making level.
• Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures and relative Service Level Agreements
• Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company
• Assists with all Stock Takes
• Monitor debtors together with finance department and sales manager to ensure timely collection of outstanding monies in line with company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure ISO procedures with respect to pricing policy, discounts and SLA agreements are adhered to
• Solves technical queries on products, by providing either telephonic support or on-site support.
• Assists the Branch Administrator in the management of all slow moving, excess and redundant stock.
• Assists the Branch Administrator with monthly stock forecasting.
