The successful candidate must be living in the area or been brought up in the area. Area that will be covered is Brits and Harties and must have had exposure to the alcohol beverage industry.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Your strategic and financial focus will be to achieve set volume and gross income targets for your territory
To achieve operational results by executing sales processes and the application of the 4A’s (Accessibility, Availability, Affordability and Activation)
Achieve call adherence measures
Achieve required customer visit call hit rate
To focus on Customer and Relationships results by determining customer needs
Leading yourself effectively, achieve performance goals and live the company values
Providing timeous feedback to team and internal customers on areas for improvement on efficiencies Competition activities or any burning issue requiring quick solutions
Grow market share in line with territory targets

Essential qualifications/experience/skills :

A formal tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing
2-3 years sales experience
A Valid driver’s license – Code 08 without endorsements with at least 2 years driving experience
Computer literate
Understand and execute the Sales processes
Good business acumen in building on customers performance
Good product knowledge across all segments – Wine, Spirit and Ready to Drink’s
Strong negotiating and influencing skills
Flexible and able to operate in a diverse market
Must have the ability to develop customer relationships
Be a self-starter/self-motivator and take accountability for actions
Must be able to identify opportunities for improvement and change
A high level of energy as the position involves working a flexible 44 hours, including some evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
