An exciting opportunity exists with a dynamic commodity company trading in rare and Collectable Coins such as the Nelson Mandela range of coins, Kruger Rands etc. This renowned concern recently opened a Branch in the Waterfall Mall and seeks to appoint a Sales Consultant who comes from a strong sales background. Previous experience in a corporate sales environment will be advantageous.

We are currently recruiting a Sales Consultant and preference will be given to individuals from a banking, investment or property background. If you enjoy the challenge of a sales environment and have a passion for the investment industry, then we would like to hear from you!

Skills required:·  

• Minimum of 2 years corporate sales experience, previous experience in banking, financial services, investments and property industry will be advantageous.


• Strong command of the English language.


• The ability to deal with high-nett worth clients.


• Keen to work in a high profile retail environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Have a keen interest in developing a passion for this high-value commodity and familiarizing yourself with the values of rare commodities and trading trends.


• Required to sell coins and build up a customer database (not a hard sell environment)


• Reach personal and Shop targets.


• Complete daily registers.


• Call clients on regular basis to advise of new stock, promotions etc…


• Handling of cash, credit cards, bank transfers and cheques.


• Assist with weekly and monthly stock counts.


• Keep up to date with product knowledge and pricing.


• Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed.


• Identify new possible business opportunities.


• Contribute to efficient running of the Retail Shop.


• Assist when the Store is running promotions.
