Permanent skilled level position in the Information Technology industry.

My Client is a company in the IT industry and provides payment solutions to different sectors.

They are looking for a dynamic, energetic business consultant.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing:
• To identify and conduct market research on possible target markets.
• To assist with creation and give input to all marketing material necessary to attract new clients.
• To identify top prospects in pre identified market segments and to attract this business.
• To market the product via telephone, cold calling and at venues (for example Association meetings and conferences)
• To present to prospective clients via media (Microsoft PowerPoint) and via secure software (Team Viewer).
• To have sufficient knowledge of competitive products in the market place and pricing offered.
Expansion and retention:
• To do regular monthly assessments for all new and existing customers making use of data in the system.
• To monthly contact priority customers or their representatives to discuss the previous months statistics and performance.
• To once a new customer is signed up, immediately schedule system training and provide any other training to the customer provided by the company or requested by the customer
• To regularly interact with and visit all customers or their businesses.
Administration:
• To have sufficient knowledge of all documents required to sign up and maintain a customer.
• To assist with general office administration.
• To coordinate internal sales meetings and prepare agenda’s and taking of minutes.
• To send application documents to prospective clients.
• To perform general administrative tasks as requested from time to time by management.

Experience:
• 3 years minimum relevant experience in sales, marketing and customer relationships.
• Experience in the industry or financial services industry would be ideal.
Education:
• Matric or NQF equivalent qualification is essential.
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantage
• Sufficient knowledge of banking environment and payments solutions.
• Proficiency in MS Office
