VACANCIES FOR TELKOM SALES AGENTS

We are looking for energetic, proactive, punctual, and professional sales staff for Telkom Mobile stores in the Northern Suburbs and Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

The main accountabilities are to the achievement of sales targets, manage stock and cash within the store, follow store processes, procedures and ensure accurate administration and customer satisfaction at all times.

We seeking to employ a sales agent for our Kenilworth branch.

Requirements:
• Retail sales experience preferably in the cellular environment
• Knowledge related to the latest Telkom Mobile, LTE/LTE-A and fixed-line internet products advantageous
• Minimum Requirement: Matric qualification
• Computer Literate
• Must be willing to work retail hours and weekends
• Interpersonal and customer service skills very important
• Communication Skills
• Attention to Detail
• English and Afrikaans mandatory
You will be required to perform in the following functional areas:
• Selling mobile products, cell phones, data (prepaid and post-paid), LTE/LTE-A, cellular accessories, and fixed line internet packages (Fibre, VDSL, ADSL)
• Advise customers on Insurance, OBF’s and Repair’s process
• Advise customers by providing information on products.
• Assist customers with cellular and fixed-line technical queries
• Capture information on an internal Customer Relations Management system
• Processing contracts in store via our credit-vetting system
• Log and track customer cases related to any queries logged.
• Keep organized with regards to customer interactions and follow-ups
• Complete daily and curriculum assessments
• Attend staff meetings and Telkom training initiatives
• Keeping up to date with latest products, trends, and devices
• Check and verify customer paperwork to detect Fraudulent applications
• Follow up with customers on application status and queries
• Maintain optimal customer service relationships
• Inform client regarding relevant turn-around times and back office processes.
