JOB DESCRIPTION

The Agent will be based in the company showroom and be required to work independently of the showroom to close deals with professionals working on large commercial projects and requiring tiles, taps, sanitary ware, accessories etc. for new projects or renovations.
The Agent will be involved in cold calling to solicit business from professionals in the industry.
Meetings with professionals at their offices and on site will be part of the service that is offered by the agent.
Monthly Sales targets will be set and need to be met.
The agent will be required to assist in the showroom when needed.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Management of own clients from creating awareness to project specification, project logistics and after sales service within the building industry
Management of daily activities to achieve targets
Ensuring of execution of marketing plans

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven successful sales track record and commitment to excellent customer service
MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Own transport with driver’s license.
Professional demeanour
Self-motivating – can manage their own time well and have no supervision.
Previous experience in the building industry or calling on architects and professionals an advantage
Has the capacity to be fully accountable for own portfolio of projects.
Ability to meet set monthly sales targets consistently.
The ability to work in both individually and in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound Arithmetic skills
A flair for Design and Creativity
Excellent interpersonal skills
Be able to give attention to detail.
The minimum educational requirement is Matric
Ability to multitask and meet deadline
Must be available to work some weekends
