A well-known construction plant hire company is looking for X5 Sales Consultants to join their winning team.

Minimum requirements for the role:
1. The suitable candidate with have approximately 6-10 years’ experience in the construction or engineering industry
2. Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
3. Extensive knowledge on earth moving machinery.
4. Own car and valid driver’s license are essential.
5. Hands on experience with customer service
6. Ability to grasp clients’ needs and to increase customer engagement
7. Computer Literate with solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
8. Understanding of sales cycle
9. Ability to cold call
10. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
11. Analytical and time-management skills
12. Must have a successful sales track record
13. Ability to build a strong network in the industry

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Identifying, interacting and managing senior key accounts within the construction/ engineering/ mining sector
2. Develop and implement strategies to grow allocated targets
3. Prepare monthly forecasts, reports and other documentation as required by management
4. Effective management of customer relationships including assessment of customer's operational requirements 5. Schedule regular client
meetings to discuss their requirements
5. Provide quotations to prospective and existing clients as required
6. Providing effective technical backup service to major accounts
7. Maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
