SALES COORDINATOR
Area: Selby, Johannesburg
Salary: R14k – R20k CTC depending on experience
OVERVIEW:
Drives to increase sales profitability and manage customer relations
Executing supporting sales activities to meet sales and marketing outcomes

Duties:
• Indentify important and valuable customers through analyzing quotes and enquiries
• Proactively engage with key customers
• Use in-depth product knowledge to sell equipment for materials testing
• Compile sales quotes and tenders
• Assist internal staff with discounts and imported products availability, product delivery and technical correctness and following up regarding receipt and quote queries
• Coordinate sales orders and dispatching thereof
• Assist with sales improvement and marketing strategies
• Assist admin with reports, quotes, filing, recordkeeping and information retrieval
• Electronic document management
• Liaise with Purchasing, Stores and Distribution for orders & repairs
• Assist with marketing materials, brochures and website info updates
• Cost effectively arranging travels domestically and internationally
• Organize meetings, ensure agendas are compiled and distributed
• Record, compiles and distribute minutes of meetings
• Organize functions, customer entertainment and conferences

Competencies:
• Matric
• Degree / Diploma in Business Admin or similar advantageous
• Several years’ sales coordination experience and typing speed of 50 words / min
• Ability to negotiate deals and diffuse conflicts
• Relationship builder
• Customer service orientated
• Planning and organizing skills
• Must have proven track record
• Valid drivers’ licence
• Minimum of 8 years’ previous experience
• Highly proficient with MS Office
• Proficient with Sage Evolution
• Sales, marketing and export experience
• Experience in arranging travel arrangements
• Website, marketing and social media experience
