Required Experience: • Engineering or Business Studies Degree from a recognized University or College, • BS / MBA in Business or equivalent, • Minimum of 10 years of sales team related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Essential Experience: a thorough knowledge of the Access Control/Security industry/Authentication technologies and related products. • Proficient in preparing reports analysis using SFDC, Microsoft applications such as word, excel, PowerPoint. • The job entails local and international travel as well as fieldwork. Travel/Office 60/40 Additional Skills required: • Ability to fully understand the design and topography of the electronic systems sold and future requirements within an IT centric ecosystem • Is able to become fully competent with all aspects of the product software and firmware features and functions, and be able to present them into high-level meetings, not limited to CxO, Director level audience. • Keen knowledge and understanding of Ethernet and IP structures, along with Cloud computing. • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical journals. • Solid understanding of financial reports. • Ability to read and interpret legal documents. • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members. • Ability to write presentations and articles that conform to prescribed style and format. • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors • Experience in leading a widely dispersed sales team. • Implement controls and reports to measure sales performance. Duties: • Develops and implements strategic, tactical and executable business plans • Establishes sales and objectives to ensure the growth in the share of market and profitability of products. • Develops and executes sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services. • Researches, analyses, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on sales opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity. • Develops and recommends pricing strategy which will result in the greatest share of the market on a long-term basis. • Drives the profit ratio and performance of market share relative to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy. • Ensures effective control of the sales results and that corrective action takes place, to ascertain that the achievement of sales objectives is accomplished within designated budgets. • Directs all sales activities to maximize sales revenue and meet corporate objectives. • Creates an integrated environment for Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Product Marketing with emphasis on Africa • Develops strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profit goals for next five years. • Develops and implements strategic business plans that identify existing and new marketing opportunities. • Maximizes demand by developing new markets and channels for existing and new products. • Provides sales leadership through mentoring, motivation and setting up high expectations. • Implement reports and measurements to manage the correct utilisation of the sales resources. • Initiate corrective actions for poor performance of the sales team. • Interacts with various worldwide sales forces to address process problems or large customer issues. • Assesses current international business issues and trends. • Analyses top worldwide customers for changes in purchase behaviour and new business opportunities. • Oversee the sales team and their impact on revenue and profits. • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly sales. • Provides monthly results assessments of sales staff productivity. • Leads market place promotion and brand strategies together with marketing and product marketing. • Develops and directs efforts to improve the customer buying experience. • As the key stakeholder, ensures focus on developing effective marketing strategies and tactics with marketing and product marketing. • Directs impeccably executed sales programs. • Directs Bi-Annual Strategic Meeting Sessions with sales and allied staff. • Understands the activities of the competition and helping formulate counter strategies to maintain market leadership role. • Interfaces across business functions to ensure solid business cases and clear workflow process. • Manages subordinate sales staff. • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the sales team. • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. *No applications considered after 30 April 2019 Written applications to the following e-mail: ****@*****.*** or fax to: (***)-***-****, you can also contact Justine on (***)-***-**** or visit our website on Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
