Job Description
• The main purpose of this role is to increase and strengthen sales within the area of responsibility.
• Prospect professional customers, offer technical solutions according to the customer’s needs and specifications, and negotiate commercial terms of sale.
• Provide the interface between the customer and the teams within the company, dealing with commercial, technical, financial and legal aspects according to the applicable regulations and any time, cost or quality constraints.
• Ensure compliance with the general procedures of the Group through all phases of the process (Anti-Corruption, Ethics, Trade Compliance, Legal, Financial, etc.).
• Identify and analyse the needs of the customer or prospect in order to present the full range of products and services offered by the company (products, equipment, installations, services and solutions).
• Design and develop technical and financial solutions through proposal, quotation, preliminary design and design phases negotiated with the customer with a view to entering a contract.
• Coordinate performance of the contract, including research and development, production, logistics and any necessary adjustments.
• Contribute to defining the sales and marketing strategy in the field of activity. Monitor competition in the market and keep abreast of changes in the environment.
• Responsible for the profitability of his/her area of responsibility, margins and production costs, as well as the growth and development of his/her customer portfolio.
Qualifications
• A qualification in electrical engineering or engineering school studies plus experience in commercial negotiations and the sale of technical products.
• At least 5 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of marketing, management and commercial law (price regulation).
• Solid understanding of the field of activity and knowledge of the market. Familiarity with the requirements of professionals in relation to drive systems and their end customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, in addition to analytical and summarising skills.
• Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team.
• Use of integrated management software.
• Fluent in English

Remuneration: R30 000-R40 000 per month
