Sales Engineer - Generators

Salary R50 000pm basic

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Tertiary Education B.Eng or Equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering would be an advantage

Proven sales experience in a technical environment and signing of multi-million rand deals (3-5 Yrs)

Knowledge / experience of generator sales would be a distinct advantage

Must be capable of understanding customer requirements & developing commercial offerings that lead to sales

Ability to work in teams internally & externally with institutions such as consultants & power developers

Willingness to travel locally & internationally when required

Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent engineering (electrical/mechanical/industrial) acumen with regards to industrial operations

POSITION OUTPUTS

Grow the generator customer base through capturing of new business according to sales targets

Develop business opportunities and partnerships for generator-to-power applications

Manage relationships and business opportunities with existing and new customers

Be accountable for timeous compilation and delivery of competitive technical offerings

Gather market & competitive intelligence
