A company in Midrand is looking for a Sales Engineer who has experience in Automation (specifically in factory and agricultural settings).
You will be responsible for growing external sales for the company through relationship building, site visits, quoting, assisting 'turnkey' solutions and product offerings and services to potential new clients and existing clients.

Only Candidates with the following will be considered (no chancers please):
-Minimum a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering (Degree might be preferred).
-Effective Sales Engineer experience of a minimum of 2 years in the Automation Industry.
-Full understanding of PLCs, VSDs and other Drives, HMIs, SCADA etc.
-Exposure to a project environment might be beneficial.
-Drivers License and own vehicle to work and back (company vehicle will be allocated for sales work).
-Experience with Sales Planning will be highly beneficial.
-Experience with quoting on an ERP system (such as Syspro, Sage, SAP etc.).
-Have an eye for detail and be able to see the big picture.
-Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (Oral and written) to communicate well with Customers.
-Have a hunger for automation and be up to date with technological improvements in the field and where the market is going to.
-Must be an analytical thinker and be able to problem-solve on the go, while being a people's person and being able to act diplomatically when circumstances warrant.
-RSA Citizen.
-No criminal record - will be verified.

Basic Salary on offer with commission on sales, other benefits will be discussed during an interview.
