SALES ENGINEER / KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (EE/AA) (TECHNICAL)

Our client, A Global leader in the distribution of electrical, electronic, mechanical & industrial products are looking for a Key Account Manager.

This person will be responsible for customers based in Randburg, West Rand, Southern suburbs & surroundings.

Function:

This role is accountable for profitable growth of the company’s Customer base with a focus on creating value for our customers by aligning the unique company’s business offer with customer needs.
The key purpose is to maximize profitable sales growth by enhancing existing relationships, developing and creating value across the various functions and levels of the customer organization and to introduce and develop new contacts.
By using industry thought leadership and customer insight, they must develop and grow the awareness of the company, position of company as an invaluable supplier and grow company’s share of customer spend.
Key to delivering this is the creation of brilliant customer experiences and the ability to demonstrate how we reduce customer effort and cost by partnering with them through the phases of design, build and maintain.
Ensures alignment with internal business partners to meet customer service needs.
The role is field based.


Requirements:

Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification in business or related to technical innovation (Mechatronics, IOT, Research, Science, Electronics)
At least 3 to 5 years successful sales experience ideally within in a business-to-business solution- selling and account growth environment
Technical aptitude and/ or experience
Matric essential
SAP CRM experience would be beneficial
A strong working understanding of Microsoft office packages
Familiar with value led sales techniques.
