My Client is a global giant within the mining and power projects. They operate in 11 African countries, as well as in Spain, Portugal and a significant portion of Russia including Siberia and the Russian Far East. They are seeking to employ SALES ENGINEERs x 2 – INDUSTRIAL ENGINES / PUMPS ENGINE (AA CANDIDATE), Must RESIDE IN POLOKWANE & FREE STATE.

My Client offers customers power systems solutions, including the sale of new and used engines supported by a comprehensive after sales network, in the marine, petroleum, electric power generation, rail, industrial and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in their dealership territories.

SALARY - R25 000 - R35 000 per month + company bakkie- vehicle+ R700 cell phone allowance+ 13th cheque

Sales Engineer is required to grow the INDUSTRIAL ENGINES / PUMPS customer base through capturing new business according to the sales targets, develop business opportunities with existing or new clients and deliver competitive technical & commercial offerings.

Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (HEAVY CURRENT)

Requirements:
Must have a proven Sales experience (4- 5 YEARS+) in a TECHNICAL environment
At least 4-5 years, experience with established contacts in the Industrial Engines / Pumps Engine field
Must have knowledge and experience of power plants and or gas engines
Must be able to understand customer requirements and develop commercial offerings that lead to sales

Competencies:
Must have a strong technical Sales background in respect to the industrial Engines/ Pumps Engines
Previous sales or technical experience into this particular market Knowledge and understanding of the markets competitors and basic pricing structures
Self- motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High standard of ethics, integrity and a professional business approach Team player with the willingness to grow via coaching and mentoring Customer oriented both internal and external and the live 10/10 customer experience The right “attitude” to hunt for new business and to grow existing market share
