A Company in Stellenbosch in Mechanical Manufacturing is looking for a competent and passionate Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative in Mechanical Manufacturing who will be responsible for the following:
New Business Development for the Company through Industry Research, understanding Competitors, Client Visits, Setting up meetings, and closing new deals.
Assisting with Sales Strategies and Sales Plans.
Providing potential and existing Clients with technical advice and provide solutions to complex builds for the Client.
Doing quotations, and understanding the costing model.
Achieving and surpassing Sales Targets.

Only Candidates with the following will be considered:
At least 5 Years in an External Sales role in Mechanical Manufacturing, with a proven sales track record.
Own existing network in Cape Town and surrounding areas (for this reason only Candidates who reside in the Cape Town and surrounding areas will be considered).
Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English (Speaking, Reading, Writing).
Preferably also have an understanding of Welding, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Suspension, Containers, and Water systems, and how to combine expertise and elements into a solution.
Must have a passion for sales, enjoy networking and be able to do 'Hunting' Sales effectively, while maintaining and growing customer relationships.
Must have the ability to conceptualise in real time, and be able to target numerous industries with the Company's mechanical manufacturing capabilities and products.
Must be an effective communicator, with the ability to listen to the Client, understand the Client and to maintain communication and feedback during the manufacturing project(s).
Must be comfortable in dealing with numerous Clients and projects simultaneously, as well as pushing 'bread and milk' sales as might be needed.

Package is Negotiable, and will depend on the Candidate's experience, expertise and capability.
