Sales Engineer in Process Automation Solutions.

Desired qualification
Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in a technical field (electrical, mechanical, industrial, engineering and/ technology) or 5 -10 years field-experience

Work Experience
• Minimum of five years’ experience in providing industrial/ machine automation solutions and production processes.
• Experience in large mailing, packaging, wrapping, logistics, intra-logistics and/or fulfillment solutions will be an advantage.
• Experience in both technical and business development, will be an advantage.
• Project management experience will be an advantage.
• Experience in designing large innovative and customized process automation solutions will be an advantage.

Responsibilities
• Assist the pre-sales consulting team with the design and implementation of large-scale process automation projects.
• Attend customer meetings and planning sessions.
• Analysing and understanding business processes.
• Identifying and communicating the technical requirements.
• Designing automated process solutions.
• Creating and maintaining solution -and project -documentation. Like Statement of Works
• Attend supplier meetings and planning sessions (mostly in the US and Europe).
• On-site assistance to the project and technical teams during the implementation phases.
• Implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
• Creating and documenting procedures.
• Managing customer expectation and future relations.
• Providing post-implementation customer support.
• Generate new business.

Remuneration
R600,000 – R 780,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits.
