PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Sales Executive is responsible for the following:
• Acquisition of advertising clients for all Media Channels.
• Establishing and attending client relationships.
• Persuading clients to buy advertising space or time.
• Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organisations and contacting them.
• Explaining the benefits of your medium, using statistics on readership or viewing figures.
• Offering a price and negotiating around it.
• Closing the deal and recording the details.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must have car and valid drivers – this is an office based job, however the role requires the person to go offsite during the day to visit clients/ suppliers. (5% travel)
• Must be PC competent
• Well spoken & well groomed
• Strong on problem solving / proactive/ non emotional

EXPERIENCE
• Proven 4 – 5 Years media sales experience including selling media solutions, both print and online, on the phone and face-to-face and delivering complete media solutions.
• Experience of a commercial sales environment including the ability to reach the targeted effective calls per week and maximize and deliver targeted revenues.
