Sales Executive – Aviation Industry – Johannesburg

Educational Requirements:
Matric
At least 2 years Post Matric Studies or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 3 - 5years’ experience in a similar role
The candidate has to have a good B2B sales experience (3 years minimum) and preferably within the Aviation industry
This position requires patience and precision, adaptability, autonomy, consistency
It is expected of you bring your know how to the activity of the company
Must have excellent communication skills in English written and spoken
Must be attentive to detail
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to multitask at all levels
Must be resourceful, flexible and detail-oriented
Must be proficient in Microsoft office
Strong general knowledge of software and computers
Must have own transport and valid driver license

Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business opportunities and create bespoke solutions within clients; to leverage relationships in order to introduce all service/ product areas to clients.
Achieve new business targets by selling products and services within the Aviation market:
Manage client relationships and represent the company on events as and when required.
Achieve /exceed sales targets and drive growth.
Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email and telephone.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff. Collaboration with other departments is an important responsibility for the employee (contact with the technical department, for example, to deal with any product or technical queries).
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions and company’s partners necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
Maintain up to date sales records as a basis for reports to the senior management team at all times. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information. Assist with external marketing activities of webmarketing, corporate communications and research.
Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Perform all basic and required administrative and reporting duties related to the business activities and position.
Any other tasks as may be assign by management from time to time.
Understanding the work flow, pressure and daily operations of business
Comfortable With Technical Issues and Situations
Comfortable with Negotiating and Discussing Terms (good negotiating skills)
Must have a proven sales track record
Cold Calling - Telephonically, Email…or however the sales person believes they can secure a meeting to present.
If not locally available the presentation can be done, via email correspondence, Skype or telephonically
Reporting on sales pipelines & forecasts etc

Need to have clear CRIM record
Business driven
Needs to be a self starter
