Sales Executive – Craft Beer

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg
Salary: Negotiable – Basic plus commission, mobile & petrol allowance

About the Role:
Opportunity available at an established brand to generate new business and manage existing clients to ensure their craft beers are consistently positioned to out-perform the competition.

Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12
Own car and driver’s licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Liquor industry with experience as a liquor sales rep
Alternatively, FMCG sales experience ESSENTIALLY
Computer literate- working knowledge of word, excel, google docs.
Available to travel to clients in Johannesburg/Pretoria and do brand activations on Saturday or evenings if need be
Strong sales skills and experience a must
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills.
Must have a passion for interacting with all types of people.
Ability to operate independently.
Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven.

Duties:
Call cycle management and achievement of sales volume and targets.
Negotiation of new draught installations within the region.
Implement promotions, promotional and point of sale placements at store level
Implement and execute promotional activities
Monitor stock levels at outlets.
Develop relationship with store and venue managers/ owners, informing him/her of promotions and stock availability and at all times ensuring that the in-store store stock cover is adequate to ensure 100% availability at all times.
Discuss stock, rate of sales and negotiate displays and pricing
Negotiate new accounts
Events on weekends and evenings, from time to time
Compile weekly report based on customer liaison and sales
Achieve targets and goals
Build brands and sales volumes through implementation of company standards and strategies
