Good IT literacy and writing skills with experience of MS Office and using database systems. A valid Driver’s license and own transport.*

Location: Johannesburg

Description: A company who provides information services and solutions for risk management, compliance and business improvement is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team. The key responsibilities includes: outbound telephone prospecting, engaging with decision makers within organisations to produce lead generation; generate appointments for meetings and present to prospects with identified needs; initiate follow-up to calls via email or telephone, as required, including the provision of supporting documentation and marketing material; deal professionally and efficiently with incoming leads and enquiries, quickly identifying the need and matching with appropriate product/service and business area and following up these leads as appropriate; manage client retention targets, through engagement with existing clients to ensure continued service and identify new sales opportunities for other products and services; telephone sale prospecting, converting to sales; enter information received from phone calls into a customer database () or database to ensure that all prospect information is captured accurately and promptly; capture customer feedback and market intelligence on trends, opportunities and challenges based on above activities and report on this information through internal channels; meet agreed sales targets; represent the company at tradeshows and other industry events.
Key Requirements: BSc degree (preferably Microbiology as major) with either previous experience in microbiology laboratory testing/hygiene/certification audit sales or relevant business-to-business sales experience, dealing with decision makers in the areas of lead generation, sales conversion, account development, enquiry management and lead nurturing. Good IT literacy and writing skills with experience of MS Office and using database systems (ideally ). A valid Driver’s license and own transport.
Additional Requirements: Confident and professional individual capable of problem solving and critical thinking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
