Sales Executive

Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R34k Cost to Company (includes basic, car allowance, petrol, mobile phone, medical aid, pension)

Requirements:
Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification
3-5 years of experience in Sales (media experience essential)
Passionate about sales/retail, well presented, outgoing, confident and hardworking
Passionate about customer service
Experience of successfully working to sales and profit targets
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent communication skills

Duties:
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
Analyze sales reports and customer surveys
Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Display efficiency in gathering market and customer info to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications to their managers.
Meet with other department heads, dealers and distributors to find ways to increase profits and minimize costs.
Help management in forthcoming products and discuss on special promotions.
Review their own performance and aim at exceeding their targets.
Record sales and order information and report the same to the sales department.
Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to their respective employers.
