Direct Sales Executives required for Office Automation Company based in Sandton

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The person in the company invested with the responsibility to generate new business.

Essential requirements:
Matric essential
Own Vehicle
Valid SA Driver’s license
Preferably SA Citizens
Competitive nature and positive outlook
Must have an outgoing personality and a flair for sales
Previous experience in a sales position would be an advantage
Previous sales experience in the office automation industry an advantage
Must be ambitious, someone who is looking to build a career

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Cold canvassing
Time management
Make appointments
Product knowledge
Establish customer needs
Build customer relations and maintain them
Be responsible to customer needs
Gather, compile and analyze customer compliment slips
Generate quotes
Demonstration of machines
Keep in contact with existing and potential clients
Knowledge of pricing and bank factors
Paperwork – preparation of quotes, dockets, cover sheets, etc.
Clear demonstration list monthly
Complete all signed deals with correct paperwork

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CONDUCT:
Neat and presentable at all times
Polite, tactful and courteous
Attendance of meetings and functions on time
Security
Neatness of workstation and immediate area
Prompt response to all messages, queries, complaints and instructions
Induce and maintain culture and standards
Maintain positive attitude

SECURITY:
Ensuring all confidential information is secured (price lists)
No firearms must be kept in the building
Keep files and customer information locked in credenza

SALESMAN INFORMATION:
Weekly updated prospect list
Monthly projections
Monthly lost order analysis
Monthly quote analysis

AUTHORITY
To effectively expedite the key performance areas and comply with the standards set.
Should special circumstances arise, actions must be confirmed with the manager.

The sales person will accept full responsibility for all duties and report directly to the Sales Manager / Sales Director.

OTHER ASSIGNMENTS
To perform any other duties as required by the Sales Manager or the Sales Director and uphold company standard’s at all times.

Salary 8k – 12k per month – Plus commission / incentives
